PRINTER P5
The
P5 is a quiet and fast Thermo-Paper-Printer (up to 5 lines per second). The
construction allows for easy paper change during an event. The transport axle
is combined with the paper cover and guaranties a that the paper can be changed
without complication.
The printer head has no moving parts so jamming of paper between the head
and spindle is almost impossible. Paper roles are inexpensive and easily available.
Printer P5 Models:
ALGE offers three different models of the Printer P5. The only difference between the models is in the connection plugs, otherwise they are identical.
Model | Plug | Device |
Printer P5-5 | DIN-cube-plug | Timer S4, OPTIc, SWIM 2000 |
Printer P5-8 | DIN-8-pin | Comet |
Printer P5-25 | D-Sub 25-pin | Timy-S and Timy XE |
Uses of the Printer P5:
The Printer P5 is a reliable protocol printer for Timing. The big advantage over other printers is that it works without heat from –20° up to 55°C. The Printer P5 can also be used for other occasions where you need a small reliable printer controlled by an RS 232 interface.
External Printer for the timing computers such as the ALGE S4 and SWIM Controller SWC. Used to record each impulse on paper as they occur. The Printer P5 is powered by the ALGE S4, SWIM Controller SWC or external power supply.
