The most advanced device made for sports with regulated start
intervals. This device is a combination of an extremely accurate timer and
visual analogue and digital display. As such, the Start Clock ASC1 can be
used as an approved backup timer while performing it's role as a start indicator.
Start interval tone and disk indicator can be set for an almost infinite range of possibilities. from 11 seconds to 9 min. 59 seconds.
Tolerance Time: The time span in which a start must occur can be selected in seconds. A flip disk indicator displays the status of the start. Green: within tolerance, Red: out of tolerance.
Start deviation: The deviation from the zero time is automatically recorded for each start, stored for later retrieval and displayed. This value can be used to indicate a false or late start.
Acoustic Countdown: By pressing a button or at regular variably selected time intervals, a warning tone is sounded 10 seconds before the start. 5 seconds before the start, the acoustic count down begins.
Easy Operation: Resident programs for most popular sports. The most popular programs (start interval with accompanying tolerance time) are pre-programmed for easy selection. Your own custom program can also be stored and selected as required.
Contact Output: Along with the start tone the Start Clock ASC1 provides a start impulse (normally open) to trigger the main timing or can accept the impulse from a start gate or photocell to record the false, late start tolerance.
Synchronization: Can be synchronized with other timing systems either manually or via an external close contact impulse
Remote Control: Optional remote control allows you to temporarily disable the count-down sequence or adjust the start interval during competition.
Backup Timing: The ALGE Start Clock ASC1 is an ideal backup timer. Includes three input channels which allow the connection of start microphone SM8, start gates, photocells, and/or pushbuttons, start, intermediate and finish times can be recorded to a precision of 1/1000th second.
Data Storage and safety: All times are automatically written to memory and available even after the clock has been turned off and back on again.
Printing of times: All times as well as the start deviations can be printed during or after the competition with the additional of an optional P4 Printer.
Computer RS-232 Serial Connection: RS-232C output allows the connection of a computer for data processing of times.
Power Supply: External 12volt DC, or optional rechargeable internal battery pack for all day operation over large temperature range (-25°C to +65°C).
Optional Accessories: External "traffic light" for public and racers. External horn speaker, Manfrotto 190 Tripod for easy positioning at the start and carry case for safe transport an storage.
Dimensions: W x H x D = 450 x 330 x 110mm
Weight: 5 kg
